History of DollarBay
DollarBay
is part of the North Dakota State University GAMES Project,
which is a successor to the long vanished GAMES project at North Western
University's Institute for the Learning Sciences. That project,
canceled in 1994, resulted in single prototype, the Sell Game which
was only informally tested and was never released.
DollarBay,
originally Sell, is one of the many Virtual Environments for education
at North Dakota State University. The NDSU Worldwide Web Instructional
Committee (WWWIC) is engaged in developing a range of Virtual Environments
for Education. Their purpose is to design and develop educational
media that share critical assumptions and technologies in order to
leverage from each others efforts, developing common tools for development.
